Uncommon deciduous tree to 4m, usually on rocky, well drained slopes in moister forests. Leaves alternate, drooping, to 12cmx16mm, apex drawn to a fine point. Separate male and female flowers, summer, males on spikes to 15cm, females solitary. Bell shaped fruits to 20mm diameter. Single specimen found at Long Grass, opposite the gate to the Dwyers Scrub track.
